Privacy Policy
Last updated September 11, 2026 ยท Fikrix LLC
myMatch is operated by Fikrix LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Fikrix," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information myMatch collects, how it's used, who it's shared with, and how you can see, correct or delete it. It applies to the myMatch web app and, where applicable, the myMatch mobile app.
myMatch is built around a simple idea: you should be able to search for a spouse without handing your name, face or contact details to every stranger who views your profile. This policy is written to match how the product actually behaves today, not how a generic dating app might. If you notice a place where it doesn't, tell us.
Who can use myMatch
myMatch is intended for individuals age 18 or older, located in the United States, who are seeking a marriage partner. Creating a profile means you are confirming both of those things are true.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: what you provide, what the service generates from it, and what your device sends automatically.
Account information. You sign in with your Google account. We receive your email address and Google account identifier from Google โ we never see or store a password.
Profile information you provide. Date of birth, gender, height, city and country, a profile photo, free-text introductions about yourself, your parents and your siblings, and your answers to matching questions โ which may touch on lifestyle habits, personal values, and religious or faith background. Sharing your faith background is optional; matching still works without it.
Location. We use the city you provide to place you approximately on the map and to compute distance for search and filtering. We do not track your device's GPS location, and we never show another member your exact coordinates โ only the city and approximate distance shown on the map.
Messages and agreements. Messages you exchange with a match through the in-app messenger, and the record that you and a match mutually signed an "advance agreement" (see the Terms of Service for what that unlocks) โ including, where technically captured, the IP address associated with that signature.
What we don't collect. myMatch v1 is free โ we don't collect payment card numbers, billing addresses, or government ID. We don't run or request criminal background checks; see the safety notice in our Terms of Service.
How your profile appears to other members
Other members see you by an anonymous Profile ID (like B_042), not your real name. Your profile photo is shown blurred, and your exact contact details are never visible, until you and that specific member each sign the advance agreement inside your conversation. Even after that, myMatch does not automatically reveal your legal name โ only what you choose to share directly in the conversation once contact details unlock.
Every photo you view carries a faint, invisible-at-a-glance watermark identifying your own Profile ID as the viewer. This exists so that if a photo is copied or shared outside myMatch without consent, its source can be identified.
How we use your information
- To operate the matching system โ comparing your questionnaire answers against other members to surface compatible profiles.
- To display your (anonymized) profile to other members and let you browse theirs.
- To deliver messages between you and members you've mutually matched with.
- To enforce blocking, reporting, and account actions when a member violates our Terms.
- To meet legal obligations โ for example, preserving specific content under a legal hold when required by law, or reporting content as required by law (see "Illegal content" below).
We do not use your information to serve third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
Who we share information with
We are not in the business of sharing your data. We share it only with:
- Service providers who run the infrastructure myMatch is built on: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Google (sign-in), and Mapbox (map rendering). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
- Other members, but only the anonymized profile information described above, and only your exchanged messages with the specific member you're talking to.
- Law enforcement or regulators, when required by valid legal process, or to report apparent child sexual abuse material as required under federal law (18 U.S.C. ยง 2258A).
- Nobody else. We don't sell, rent, or share your information with data brokers or advertisers.
Illegal content
We are legally required to report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. We remove such content and terminate the associated account on discovery, and cooperate with law enforcement investigations.
How long we keep your information
Our default is to delete, not retain. When you delete your account (Settings โ Danger Zone, on web or mobile), we permanently remove your profile, photo, questionnaire answers, notes, every match and conversation you were part of, your login identity, and the sign-in activity log tied to your account โ in one action, immediately. A member you were talking to sees the conversation end; they do not see it silently vanish.
One thing intentionally survives an account deletion: a de-identified entry in an internal audit log, which records only that a match event happened and when โ no name, email, or other identifier remains attached to it once your account is gone.
The one exception is content placed under an active legal hold โ for example, content that is part of an open abuse report or a legal obligation. In that case we preserve the specific content instead of deleting it, exactly as we would refuse to delete evidence relevant to an active legal matter. A hold is released, and the preserved copy purged, once the underlying obligation ends.
Your choices and rights
You can, at any time while signed in:
- Edit or update your profile information from your dashboard.
- Block another member, which prevents further contact from them.
- Permanently delete your account and associated data from Settings โ Danger Zone.
If you are a California or Texas resident, state privacy law may give you additional rights over your personal information, such as the right to request a copy of it or request deletion even without signing in. If you'd like to make such a request, or you've lost access to your account, email md.s.mobin@gmail.com from the address on your account and we will verify your identity before acting on the request.
Data security
Your profile photo is stored in a private file store that isn't publicly accessible by URL. Messages, agreements and profile data are protected by database-level access rules so that only you, and members you've matched with, can read what applies to you. No method of storing or transmitting data is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use myMatch after a change means you accept the updated policy.
